A new book, How To Save A Life: The Inside Story of Grey’s Anatomy, shares the story of what led to the demise of Isaiah Washington.
It started when Isaiah and Patrick Dempsey got into a physical fight and Isaiah said,
“You can’t talk to me the way you talk to that little f– T.R.”
The set was immediately cleared. Both men commented for the book with Patrick Dempsey writing,
“I think the explosion really healed the show.”
Washington wrote,
“We learned we had to watch what we say. We had to make sure we were more accountable.”
