In honor of the 30th anniversary edition of their classic album “Hangin’ Tough,” New Kids On The Block are are serving up a history lesson with their new song and video, “The Boys in the Band”.
What’s the lesson? The history of Boy Bands. The video starts out in a classroom, with a teacher played by Lance Bass from N Sync.
Bass introduces NKOTB, who come out as old men, then proceed to school the kids on all the classic boy bands. It begins with New Edition and continues to BTS.
In addition to Lance, there’s also cameos from Naughty by Nature, Bell Biv Devoe and Debbie Gibson.
